A presentation and exhibition to mark the closing of the two-year programme: ‘Breaking the Myth - WW1 & Africa’ An intergenerational project by Diversity House, raising awareness of the involvement and contributions of Africans/Africa during WW1 to create an inclusive and cohesive remembrance. As part of Diversity House’s ‘Breaking the Myths - WW1 & Africa’ Project, we worked closely with Year 5 pupils at St. Michael’s C of E Junior School in Maidstone to write and perform a play dedicated to the life of Walter Tull entitled ‘Breaking Down Walls’. This is the script written by the pupils which was performed on the 4th June 2018.

The Summer Youth Club is back! children aged 6 to 15. With an array of activities from games, arts and crafts, children to learn and share about other cultures. It will be a great place for children to make new friends, build confidence and keep them occupied. -
