The First World War was fought between people from many different cultures and backgrounds (micro- nations). It affected the everyday lives of men, women and children at the time and for many years later. Bring your own stories or come and discover the stories of others. The event provides an opportunity to experience how historians piece together the past and to find out about your own family involvement. There will also be an opportunity to discuss and debate the impact of the war then and now.
