  • Rescue Me is a course designed to inspire, empower and motivate individuals to become more resilient to the world around them. Providing encouragement to help increase self-esteem and confidence as well as uplifting them with positivity and mindful living. Come and join our, fun and engaging, six-week course which begins on Saturday, 18th May at 9:30am - 12:00pm This course is completely free of charge, funded by Diversity House.   • The course is for adults in the community who would like to learn or improve their sewing skills. Would you like to be able to mend or upcycle your clothes? The course will teach the various type of stitches and what they are used for. At the end of course you will leave with a passport holder or a coin purse. This course is for people who have been sewing and would like to improve their sewing skill, new learners who want to gain another skill or people who would like to use the skill acquired to start a business or just save yourself some money, e.g. gift items, decorations etc. People will be learning about different types of stitches used in sewing.   • Diversity House and CXK Prince's Trust are hosting a Summer coffee morning where all generations from in and around Swale can network, meet new people, find out about local opportunities and hear inspirational stories from people who have overcome adversity.  We have an array of speakers lined up (all listed below) and there will be refreshments and light snacks.
