Join the Culturally Educational Intervention for Healthy Lifestyles Project
Diversity House is calling for participants to take part in a pioneering initiative designed to promote healthier eating habits within the Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities across Kent. Named the “Culturally Educational Intervention for Healthy Lifestyles” project, it aims to tackle the unique cultural influences that shape dietary choices among diverse populations.
At the heart of this project is a deep commitment to understanding the perspectives and challenges faced by BAME individuals regarding healthy eating. By engaging in activities such as interviews, surveys, focus groups, and speculative fabulation, participants will contribute valuable insights that will inform strategies to overcome barriers to healthy eating.
Supported by the Kent County Council and various organisations like the Community Fund, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Staff Network, and the Medway & Swale Integrated Care Partnership, this project represents a collaborative effort to empower individuals and communities to make informed choices about their health and well-being.
If you’re passionate about promoting health equity and want to be part of positive change, consider joining us in this transformative journey towards healthier lifestyles for all. Together, we can break down barriers and create a healthier, more inclusive future. Join the Culturally Educational Intervention for Healthy Lifestyles project today!
